Personality: Vesta’s personality reflects her color very well. She’s fiery, eye catching, and strong. Sadly, her hard-headedness can get in her way. She’s bred for battle, and takes it seriously. In fact, fighting is one of her strongest drives in life, training on her own if she must to get better and faster. She holds the Valkyrie name and spirit high and likes to keep the honor of being a soldier alight. Though she would sacrifice her life for her queen in a heartbeat, death is a fear she holds tightly underneath her tough skin. The only thing more feared than death, would be marriage. Forced to take a man’s hand, stripped of her wings and dignity, destined to be a house wife with little to no honor, is something worse than death. And do to this fear, she blocks her heart from any man, and can come off rather harsh towards anyone of the opposite gender. She refuses to allow herself to fall in love.

Besides her strong focus on training and fulfilling any of her queen’s requests, she has a deep passion for travel. She would love to see the world, every corner of it. Having wings is one of the greatest privileges. Sadly, wings do not come with freedom. She tries to volunteer for any message delivering jobs, so she can get out of Ragnanival, and see all the other lands and races of the world they share. If her fears did not chain her down, she would love to travel nonstop, flying wherever the wind would carry her.
All around, Vesta is a very strong and independent woman. Doing whatever it takes to get the job done. Men are no distraction for her, and can come off rather bitchy towards them. ‘Men are a crutch under a Valkyrie’s wing.’ Otherwise, she’s a good asset and will do whatever her precious queen may ask.

Likes: Fighting/Sparing, Travel, Action, Food from other lands, the warmth of the sun

Dislikes: Men, walking long distances (Why walk everywhere when you can fly), Slow paced situations.

History: As a child, Vesta was always rather rowdy and playful. She loved to wrestle and play fight. Her strict father would scold her and taught her how to stay strong and tell her that he will be proud when she becomes a warrior. Even in these times of peace, it is a duty and an honor to be a soldier for your queen. And this would be nothing but happiness to her father. So as she grew, her goal was to become the greatest soldier for her queen, and make her father proud. She tucked her dream of travel away in secret, hoping that one say she could become a personal messenger for the queen. But her dream could not get in the way of her father’s pride.

Her mother never spoke much of her warrior days, in fact, she would seem rather sad when the topic was bought up. This sparked Vesta’s initial fear of love. To be forced to be with a man, and forget your glorious days, and to have your flight stripped from you. Without that, she could not fly away to distant lands. She wasn’t even sure if her mother truly loved her father, or just had children with him because she had to. Why would any woman want that fate?
